FEES
The fee for a Standard consult $215 for up to 50 minutes.

The fee for an Initial Intake consult is $240 for up to 75 minutes.
​
Sessions may be on-site or via our secure allied health platform Coviu.
Parents are responsible for the fees which are due at the time of the appointment. Using the payment details you have provided to us, the session fee is debited for you automatically at the time of the session. Invoices are sent via email.
The Medicare rebate under a Better Access Mental Health Treatment Plan from a GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist is currently $88.25 as of February 2022. The full fee is charged to parents at the time of consultation and my vibe can efficiently process your Medicare rebate for you at the time.

Additional fees apply for additional work that is requested (for reports, letters, emails, phonecalls, meetings etc.)

The My Vibe consultation fee is well below the recommended fee by the Australian Psychological Society which is set at $260 per 50 minute session.

ALTERNATIVES:
If you are seeking help and a fee based service is not suitable please ask your GP for information on psychologists who bulk bill. You could consider getting in touch with your local community centre as they may also be able to provide some services.

HOW WE RUN
The Initial 75 minute appointment is for the parent/s only (preschool and primary aged children).
The Initial 75 minute appointment for adolescents is a joint session for the adolescent and parent/s.
Regular/ standard appointments are available weekly or fortnightly during the day during the school term and are for 50 minutes.
A weekly or fortnightly allocation will be made for your child which will span throughout that school term.
The final appointment of each school term is generally offered as a parent-only appointment to discuss goals, strategies and review progress.

It is recommended, where possible, that appointments are weekly for the initial term of attendance to establish rapport and build a strong therapeutic alliance (pending availability). Fortnightly appointments are usually recommended thereafter.
All invoices are paid at the consultation. Using details you have provided, admin will process payment and email your invoice on the day of consultation.
As we are NOT NDIS registered. As payment is due at the time of consultation, My Vibe will best suit participants who are self- or plan- managed.

With parent written permission, one additional non-client facing session per term is recommended for case review, treatment planning, resource development and consultation and collaboration with the child's other providers, which is conducted during the school holidays.
